I had some extra foam paper so...I invited some little friends to come over and talk about shapes and transportation. This fits into my R Day preschool transportation theme, but preschoolers love to create with foam paper anytime! As we look ahead to summer, this is a simple idea for a crafty morning with the kids. Amazing Action Alphabet has themes that are already organized for you, (check out my weekly themes HERE) and this summer is just the time to brush up on those letters and sounds before school this fall!
Foam Paper Automobiles
I precut some shapes and created simple transportation vehicles for the children to see. They each took a vehicle they wanted to make. They took off all the pieces from the white background paper and they tried to recreate the automobile on their own.
Talking about colors, shapes and transportation couldn't have been easier! My favorite might be this garbage truck. Beep! Beep!
THIS SUMMER plan on using the Amazing Action Alphabet Activities to teach letters and sounds. The Alphabet "Package Deal" might be just the thing you're looking for!
Well, I'm off again to play taxi driver for the older kids! Wonder if I can get them to tip me? :)
